How GST works on our prices
No GST is being added to any order at the moment. Our MIRA registration is still in progress, so the price you see on a product page is the price you pay — the 8% described below starts once registration completes, and we will say so here when it does.
The prices you see on our product pages do not include GST. We add 8% GST at checkout, and you will see the full amount you are paying before you confirm your order.
Why the price changes at checkout
Goods and Services Tax is a government tax on most things sold in the Maldives. The general rate is 8%.
We show prices before tax so you can compare what we charge with other shops. The tax is added once, at the end, on the checkout page.

You will always see this breakdown in your basket and again on the checkout page, before you pay.
What GST applies to
GST is charged on the goods you buy and on delivery. It is shown as a separate line so you can always see how much of your total is tax.
Your receipt
Every order gets a receipt showing the amount before GST, the GST charged, and the total. If you need this for business or accounting purposes, it is on your order confirmation email and in your account under Orders.
Buying a gift? If you have chosen a gift receipt, the copy that goes in the parcel does not show any prices or tax. The full receipt comes to you by email instead.
