Toy and product safety

We sell things for children, so this matters more to us than almost anything else on the site. Here is how we handle it.

Age guidance on every product

Every children’s product shows an age range, like “Suitable for 3–8 years.”

This is not a suggestion about difficulty. It is a safety rating. A toy marked 3+ is marked that way because it contains small parts that a younger child could choke on.

Please do not give a product to a child younger than the age shown, even if you think they are ready for it. The age is about physical safety, not ability.

Small parts and choking

Anything with small parts carries a warning on the product page and on the packaging.

Children under three put things in their mouths. This is normal and it is why the under-3 rule exists. If you are buying for a home where a younger child also lives, think about whether the older child can use the toy somewhere the little one cannot reach.

What we check before we sell something

  • We check the age grading and the small-parts warning from the manufacturer
  • We hold safety documentation for the products that require it, and we will not list a product in a category that requires certification unless we have that certificate on file
  • We keep batch records, so if a product is ever recalled we can identify who bought it

Craft kits, paints and materials

Our craft kits are meant to be used by children, so the materials matter.

  • Paints and coatings in our kits are chosen to be non-toxic and suitable for children
  • Each kit shows an age range — some involve small pieces or fiddly steps
  • Children should be supervised while doing craft activities, particularly with anything involving small pieces, water, or anything that could be swallowed

If you have a question about what is in a specific kit, ask us before you buy. We would much rather answer than have you guess.

Clothing

  • Sleepwear. We do not stock children’s sleepwear. Nightwear carries flammability requirements that we are not currently set up to evidence, so we have chosen not to sell it rather than sell it without being certain.
  • Cords, drawstrings and ties on children’s clothing can be a strangulation risk. We check these and we do not stock items we are not comfortable with.
  • Jewellery for children should be worn under supervision and taken off at bedtime and at nap time. Small beads and clasps can come loose.

Jewellery and accessories

Children’s jewellery contains small parts. It is not suitable for children under three, and the age guidance on each product tells you what we recommend.

If something is wrong with a product

Stop using it and contact us straight away.

Message us on Viber at +960 7600190, or email wxiu616@gmail.com.

Tell us what happened, which product it was, and your order number if you have it. We will always want to know. If we have sold something that turned out to be unsafe, we need to hear about it so we can check the rest of that batch and contact anyone else who bought it.

We will take the item back and refund you. We do not need you to argue the case first.

Recalls

If a product we have sold is recalled, we will contact everyone who bought it directly, using the batch records we keep.

We will also notify the relevant authorities and remove the product from sale immediately.

Questions

If you are unsure whether something is right for a particular child, ask us before you buy. Tell us the child’s age and what you have in mind. We would rather spend five minutes helping you choose than have you buy something that is not suitable.
